Theme: Healed Unto Communion: bringing our messiness to Christ
If there’s one thing that Jesus was known for in His earthly sojourn, it was that He was a healer. People came from all directions to have Jesus restore them in body, soul, mind, spirit. What does it look like to bring our brokenness, our wounds, and our insecurities to Christ? How does God heal us? What does a healing community look like? How might we be equipped to offer Christ’s healing ministry to the city of San Francisco?
Fr. Keith Hartsell will be joining us as our guest speaker and guide on this journey of healing. The retreat will include times of teaching as well as times of prayer ministry. Come prepared to experience the power and presence of the Holy Spirit.
Fr. Keith Hartsell serves as the Rector of the Redeemer Anglican Parish, a parish with 8 distinct congregations on the north side of Chicago. He also serves as the Greenhouse Movement’s Chicagoland Regional Leader and the Diocese of Western Anglicans Regional Mobilizer. Prior to his involvement with Greenhouse, he served at Church of the Resurrection in Wheaton, IL for 13 years under Bishop Stewart Ruch, III. Fr. Keith leads the Equipped to Heal conferences through Greenhouse Movement in an effort to equip leaders in the church to provide pastoral care and minister through healing prayer. Keith has been married to his wife, Dawn for 16 years and they have six children: Alyana (12), Xander (9), Justin (7), and Stephen (5), Christopher (4), and Michael (2).
