For our September Pot-luck feast, Eucharist is partnering with Wild Flour Pizza, a mentorship and training initiative of Because Justice Matters.
Wild Flour pizza and calzone pop-up events serve to provide a bridge between childhood instability and holistic healing and development for system-impacted young people. In addition to workforce development and hands-on experience, young people in the program are supported with both practical resourcing and in-depth mentoring to grow, heal, and articulate their next step goals and vision.
Wild Flour will set up two live pizza ovens in our kitchen and will be making fresh, made-to-order pizzas and calzones for a suggested donation of $12 each, which goes toward the cost of food and a stipend for the young people involved in BJM’s Azul creative enrichment program for young adults.
Join us for our next All Church Potluck! We’ll feast together directly following worship, Sunday, September 21. Please plan to bring something to contribute to this communal meal.
