Table Groups
Please contact us if you are interested in joining a Table Group!
What are Table Groups?
Table Groups are a weekly gathering of small groups of people from our church. The goal is to experience the Lord’s hospitality and friendship through one another and explore what it means to live all of life in reference to Christ.
It’s similar to “community groups” you can find in other churches. We call them Table Groups because they’re intended as an extension of the Lord’s Table into our homes and neighborhoods.
What happens at a Table Group?
Table Groups include a communal meal, sharing and discussion, and evening prayer. Some groups spend more time in Bible study while other focus more on fellowship, but we always take time to pray for each other and our needs during Evening Prayer. If you are interested in joining a group, review the expectations of a Table Group participant and then reach out to us via the connect form.
Where do the groups meet?
Table groups meet in the homes of hosts who are members of our Eucharist Church community. We currently have many Table Groups which meet throughout the city and in the East Bay.
Can I lead a Table Group?
Leading a Table Group is a wonderful way to serve our church. There are expectations that our church has for our Table Group leaders. If you are interested in leading, review our Expectations for Table Group Leaders document and then reach out to the staff in person on a Sunday or send a message via the connect form.
Can I host a Table Group?
We love to start new groups, and hosts make that possible. Let us know if you’re interested, and we may be able to partner you with a group and members. For more information about hosting a group, see our expectations for hosts. Then send us a message via the connect form to let us know.
