Shrove Tuesday, or Fat Tuesday, is the day before Ash Wednesday and has traditionally been celebrated as one final “hurrah!” before beginning the Lenten season. Historically, Fat Tuesday was “fat” because it was a time to eat up all your rich, fatty foods before beginning the great fast of Lent. At Eucharist we like to lean into this tradition via our Table Groups and partake in a pancake feast together!
