Francis Sajja
Francis Sajja: Music Pastor & Parish Coordinator
Francis was born and raised in Kakinada, India. As the son of a pastor and a physician, he grew up deeply involved in the life of the church and began serving in music ministry at the age of ten. Through those early experiences, he discovered a love for worship and the role music can play in shaping faith.
Before entering ministry, Francis worked as a pharmacist. Sensing a call to serve the Church through music, he left his profession and moved to Chicago to study music and theology at Moody Bible Institute, while serving in churches throughout the area.
Francis joined Eucharist Church in 2019 and serves as the Music Pastor, helping lead the congregation in worship that is both grounded in theology and musically engaging. He also serves as a chaplain at UCSF Health, where he provides pastoral care to patients, families, and healthcare staff. More recently, he began serving as Parish Coordinator, helping support the day-to-day life and ministry of a parish he dearly loves.
Francis enjoys jazz music, Indian cuisine, and spending time with his wife, Rachel, and their two daughters in the East Bay.
