Katie Haught: Director of Children’s Ministry
Katie and her husband, Elliott, live in Oakland with their four daughters and have been at Eucharist since 2019. Katie attended Westmont for two years and then finished her Bachelor’s in Nursing at Chico State. Since that time, most of her education has been sitting in on Elliott’s divinity school courses at Duke, reading every NT Wright book she can get her hands on, and repeating all of grammar school as a homeschooling parent. She has also worked as a nurse on campus at UC Berkeley for the past decade. Katie loves the first sip of hot coffee in the morning, talking about faith and the difference Jesus makes in our lives, hiking in the East Bay Regional Parks, reading books about theology and church history, January sunsets at the beach, praying with the BCP, camping with her family, and gardening.
